About the IdeaPad, Yoga & Legion
IdeaPad 1, 3 and 5 are the everyday models, often with part of the memory soldered. Yoga laptops are thin premium models, usually with soldered memory. Legion gaming laptops have memory slots and room for a second SSD on many models.
Gaming laptops need their cooling serviced more often than ordinary laptops.

My IdeaPad hinge has snapped. Can it be fixed?
Yes. Hinge mounts on many IdeaPads crack the case around them; we replace the hinges and repair or replace the cracked panel.
Can a Legion gaming laptop be upgraded?
Most can take more memory and a second SSD. We check what your model takes before ordering.
How do I find my exact ThinkPad model?
The machine type (four characters such as 20L5 or 21CB) is on the label underneath. Enter the serial number on Lenovo’s support site to see the exact build.
