Who we are

This website is owned and operated by Data Retrieval Ltd (“we”, “us”), the data controller for personal information collected through it. Contact: info@creativeit.tv.

What we collect

When you use our enquiry forms we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the service and device you select, and your message. We also record the date, time and IP address of the submission to prevent abuse.

Why we use it

We use this information to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the repair or recovery you request. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.

Spam protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from people rather than bots. Turnstile processes limited technical information about your browser; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Devices and data in our care

Data on devices sent to us for repair or recovery is accessed only as far as the job requires, is not copied for any other purpose, and recovered copies are securely deleted after an agreed period.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Job records are kept for as long as needed for warranty, accounting and legal purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to its use, or ask us to restrict processing. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
