Samsung’s T-series portable SSDs are popular with photographers, video makers and Mac users. We recover them after drops, connector damage and password lock-outs (with your password).
About Samsung Portable SSD (T1–T9)
Samsung portable SSDs include optional password protection using hardware AES encryption, and the T7 Touch adds a fingerprint sensor. If protection was switched on, we need the password to read the data. Internally most models are an mSATA or NVMe SSD attached to a USB bridge board.

Frequently asked questions
I forgot the password on my T7. Can you remove it?
No. The encryption cannot be bypassed without the password. Without it the data cannot be recovered.
My T5 is not detected but looks fine. What is wrong?
Often the USB bridge board or connector. We can usually reach the SSD inside and recover the data.
What happens after I send the drive in?
We carry out a professional evaluation (£94.80), then send you a fixed quote and a list of recoverable files before any recovery work is charged.
