SanDisk USB flash drive data recovery

About SanDisk USB Flash Drives

Many SanDisk USB sticks, such as the Cruzer Blade and Ultra Fit, are monolithic: the memory and controller are sealed into one small chip. When they break or stop responding, the data has to be read directly from tiny test points on the chip, which is specialist work we do in-house.

Frequently asked questions

My Cruzer Blade snapped in half. Is the data gone?

Not necessarily. If the memory chip is intact, we can usually read it directly.

Can you recover a stick that says it needs formatting?

Yes. Do not format it – that rewrites the file system. Send it to us as it is.

What happens after I send the drive in?

We carry out a professional evaluation (£94.80), then send you a fixed quote and a list of recoverable files before any recovery work is charged.

Talk to an engineer

Describe the problem and the make and model if you know it. We will reply with a price and the fastest way to get it fixed, usually the same working day.
