About Crucial NVMe SSD (P1–T705)
Crucial’s P1, P2 and P3 series use QLC or DRAM-less designs to keep costs down, while the T500, T700 and T705 are high-performance PCIe 4.0 and 5.0 drives that need good cooling. PCIe 5.0 drives in particular run hot and rely on heatsinks to avoid throttling and thermal stress.

Frequently asked questions
Can you recover data from a PS5 expansion SSD?
The drive is encrypted to the console, so recovery is limited. We will tell you honestly at evaluation.
My T700 throttles and then vanishes. Is it failing?
Possibly overheating. Fit a proper heatsink, and if it no longer appears, send it for evaluation before anything else.
What happens after I send the drive in?
We carry out a professional evaluation (£94.80), then send you a fixed quote and a list of recoverable files before any recovery work is charged.
