About the XPS 13
The XPS 13 packs a full laptop into a very small, sealed chassis. Memory has been soldered since the early models, and from the 9300 onwards most components are tightly integrated. Dell reused the model number 9350 in 2024 for a new Lunar Lake design, so it is worth checking your Service Tag if you are unsure which one you have.

Can I upgrade the memory in my XPS 13?
No. XPS 13 memory is soldered on every model. Storage is upgradeable on most models.
My XPS 13 touchpad has stopped clicking and is raised. What is wrong?
That is almost always a swollen battery. Stop using it and bring it in for a safe battery replacement.
How do I find my exact Dell model number?
It is printed on the label underneath the laptop, shown in Windows under Settings > System > About, and listed on Dell’s support site when you enter your Service Tag.
