The d2 is a single-drive desktop unit, while the 2big, 6big and 12big hold two to twelve drives configured as RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 or 10. Yes, provided enough of each drive can be read. We image all drives and rebuild the stripe.
Should I try LaCie RAID Manager to rebuild?
Not if a drive is failing. A rebuild under failing conditions can destroy data. Contact us first.
