About G-DRIVE mobile & ArmorATD
G-Technology was part of Western Digital and in 2021 its products moved to the SanDisk Professional brand, so newer equivalents are sold as SanDisk Professional G-DRIVE. The drives are usually formatted for Mac (HFS+ or APFS), which affects how we rebuild damaged volumes.

Frequently asked questions
My Mac says the G-DRIVE is unreadable. Should I click Initialise?
No. Initialising erases the volume map. Eject it and send it to us.
Is ArmorLock encryption recoverable without the phone app?
Only with valid credentials. ArmorLock drives cannot be unlocked otherwise.
What happens after I send the drive in?
We carry out a professional evaluation (£94.80), then send you a fixed quote and a list of recoverable files before any recovery work is charged.
