About G-DRIVE, G-RAID & G-SPEED
G-RAID units hold two drives, usually in RAID 0 for speed, and G-SPEED Shuttle units hold four to eight drives in RAID 5 or 6. Editors often lose the whole volume when one RAID 0 drive fails or when a second drive fails during a RAID 5 rebuild. Since 2021, these products continue as SanDisk Professional G-RAID models.
