Frequently asked questions
My Precision slows down during renders. Is that a fault?
Often it is thermal throttling from blocked heatsinks or worn thermal paste. A service usually restores full performance.
Can you recover data from a Precision with two NVMe drives in RAID?
Yes. We image both drives and rebuild the array, so do not reinitialise it or run repair tools.
Do you work with university IT departments?
Yes. We can work alongside your IT team and follow your data-handling requirements for research data.
