Maxtor hard drive data recovery
Maxtor was bought by Seagate in 2006, and later Maxtor-branded drives are Seagate designs. We recover data from DiamondMax internal drives and OneTouch and M3 external drives.
About the Maxtor models
DiamondMax drives of this era are closely related to Seagate Barracuda drives, and some share the well-known Barracuda 7200.11 firmware fault that makes a drive show as 0 GB.
External OneTouch and M3 drives contain a standard drive with a USB adapter; if only the adapter has failed, the data is usually fine.
