DIY Checks Before Professional Recovery

Before contacting us, try the following steps:

No Boot / Dead System

Verify power supply, try a different power cable, and reset the SMC/PRAM on Intel models.

Black Screen on iMac

Test with external monitor (if possible). If no display, likely a GPU or PSU issue.

Slow Performance

Boot in Safe Mode (Intel) or Recovery Mode (Apple Silicon) to check disk health.

Unresponsive macOS

Run Disk Utility (Command + R) and check for drive errors.

Critical Family Photos

If the Mac still fails to boot, power down immediately to prevent further data loss and contact us for cleanroom recovery.
